The fire blanket is an excellent supplement to the powder extinguisher, primarily for extinguishing smaller fires on the stove, in beds, furniture or clothing. Smothering the fire with a fire blanket is very effective, and requires minimal clean-up work. The fire blanket should be hung easily accessible, so that it can really be useful when needed.

Standard fire blanket for placement and use in homes, offices, kitchens and other public places. 120 x 120 cm are the dimensions recommended by the Fire Protection Association
and MSB.
